Is the watch only available from COBLOR?
Yes, our watches are available exclusively from COBLOR. COBLOR®
Is the watch really made of real asphalt?
Yes, both models are made of certified, real asphalt from the respective race track:

Nürburgring Asphalt 1: Asphalt that was removed from the Tiergarten section on November 18, 2021.

Hockenheimring Asphalt 1: Asphalt that was removed on April 23, 2025 .Asphalt over 60 years old from the start and finish area of the Hockenheimring race track.
Each watch comes with a certificate of authenticity from the MAKADAMLABOR SCHWABEN in Sindelfingen.
Which models does COBLOR offer?
We currently offer two strictly limited models:

Nürburgring Asphalt 1 - limited to 500 pieces.

Hockenheimring Asphalt 1 - limited to just 99 units.
Both watches contain genuine, certified racetrack material in the form of a dial made from original asphalt.
What does pre-order phase mean?
Our pre-order phase for the Hockenheimring Asphalt 1 will begin on May 1, 2025 and will run until December 31, 2025. During this phase, we will collect pre-orders, which will be offered at a reduced price. The Nürburgring Asphalt 1 has already been produced and was also financed via the pre-order principle.
Our concept is based on pre-orders: As soon as a certain number is reached, we start production immediately.
Important: If the required pre-order quantity is not reached, all customers will receive their money back in full. So there is no risk.
This pre-order phase applies to the Hockenheimring Asphalt 1. The Nürburgring Asphalt 1 has already been produced.
Can I return the watch?
Yes, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The watch must be returned unworn, with protective film on the glass, complete and in its original packaging. The buyer bears the return costs.
Please note: Watches ordered during the pre-order phase cannot be returned, as this concept is based on the bundling of orders to make production possible in the first place. These are individually pre-ordered products for which a statutory right of withdrawal is excluded.
For watches that have already been produced and are purchased immediately, the regular right of withdrawal naturally applies.

Is there a guarantee?
Yes, COBLOR grants a two-year warranty on manufacturing and material defects from the date of delivery. Normal wear and tear (e.g. scratches or discoloration), damage caused by improper use and unauthorized repairs are excluded from the warranty.
What is special about the movement?
Both models - Nürburgring Asphalt 1 and Hockenheimring Asphalt 1 - are equipped with the exclusive COB.01 caliber, which was specially developed for COBLOR by the Swiss manufacturer CONCEPTO in La Chaux-de-Fonds. It is a mechanical automatic movement with a 48-hour power reserve. The Nürburgring version also has a rotor in the shape of the Nürburgring silhouette. The same applies to the Hockenheimring Asphalt 1.
How does shipping work?
Shipping is insured and includes shipment tracking. Delivery time and shipping costs vary depending on the destination and are displayed transparently during the ordering process.
Can I customize my watch?
There is only the possibility to choose a desired number, if it is still available. Simply contact us for this.
Will more racetrack models be produced?
Yes, together with our business partners we are already in the planning phase for further race tracks.
Where is the limitation shown on the watch?
Together with the reference number, we will engrave the limitation (e.g. No. 007/500) on the back of the watch case.
